Melancholy

Melancholy

A Poem by Fox

Oh Melancholy you must truly love me
Because you're the only one that loves crawling back to me
When I'm all alone and easy to steal

I keep leaving, but you always find clever ways
To pull me back into your embrace
Just aching to get a grip of me again, when you heard she left

Now here we are Melancholy
Isolated with you in my own prison
As you freed me lies, doubts and past failures

Maybe you're right
That she won't come back
That what ever I do won't work

But I will never give up
I will never allow you to control my life
For it isn't living if you accept defeat
