So Loved

So Loved

A Poem by Daniele

Fair,
A voice more soft and tender,
Than the leaves on a lily in May,
Is it there my ears wander,
To where they know that voice?
So fair

Pure,
The night in all her wonder,
The fragrance that she gives,
All her poise cannot compare,
To the faintest hint of you,
So pure

Rare,
For to find another such as you,
Is a dream that none dare dream,
All of creation’s splendor,
Fades away when you appear,
So rare

Warm,
Walking flower of the world,
Your breasts are like two loaves made,
Of grainy earth and golden moon,
Where my heart burns and rests,
So warm

Loved,
When you sleep or cry,
When you walk or dream,
Near or far from me,
You are mine, my love,
So loved
