Everglades

Everglades

A Poem by Mario Vitale
"

A rich piece

"

deep in the dark woods of the Everglades their resides a chair

a space for ever changing visitors to move in their cycle

alone whispered away by soul searching

the pots and pans of earth joy's resolve

battered at if a two way street

stand still to repeat

to break away onto a brand new day

a beautiful flower display in time well spent in thought

our paths have crossed here once before

the smell of lavender decor

music is over heard through the natural word

the idle for the hunted

make room for a solution

noise pollution

the parting of waves

to taste and behave

whispers in the midnight run

ever so much fun
