If I wake Devils soul do take

If I wake Devils soul do take

A Poem by Call Me Blu
"

A dark poem about the devil

"

If the blade does not seperate my soul

Then white silk I shall have stole

With fire encased in ice

Much to late to make nice

Time is a fickle thing

Dropping light on on a butterfly wing

World of truth is my heart desire

As I am holding the wings of fire

From my dreams if I wake

The devil my soul will take

Put into a dark to light for sin

Yet a simple burden I yet to win

Above me lays a throne of white

Filling it a man with bite

Winged children surround his chair

Singing a song of despair

I handed my soul to him

Only to remain stiff and grim

When I danced in flames and coal

My life was returned in whole

Burnt and black I find my wings

As I take the souls of many a thing

Slipping down under the flames

Is better than all of the blame

To decide the fate of woman and child

For men to tremble in wild

For any burden to be lifted

Through hell you must be sifted
