Little One

Little One

A Poem by Courtney Hough

Pitter patter,

goes your little feet.

You're growing so fast,

We cannot wait to meet.

Precious little one,

you are the world to me.

I promise you all my love,

and to be the best Mom I can be.

You will always have love,

you will always be clothed.

We will be there for it all,

our family will mold.

We tried so hard for you,

Mommy endured a lot.

But we know you did too,

like mommy; you fought.

You're growing in Mommy!

And Mommy is growing too!

Not just my belly,

but my heart with love for you.

Daddy will be your strong protector,

and won't let any harm fall upon you.

He loves you so much sweetheart,

but I'm sure you already knew.

You've made Mommy want to live again,

I didn't think you would come.

But here we are,

waiting for a daughter or son.

I cannot wait to hold you,

with Daddy right away.

Oh bless you little one,

till we meet soon some day!
