The One About Mary

The One About Mary

A Poem by hypochondrita
"

The transition of a little girl into the criminal world

"
Mary was a good kid
Quiet, brave, naive
Until december came along
And santa forgot about her home

She couldn't understand where she went wrong
Though, It wouldn't last very long
Her mom seemed sad about her kid's frustation
But the solution only works in her imagination

Expecting good things for being pure
Never really led to anything
It's time to achieve her desires
Even if it sets one's world on fire

She holds on to a knife
About to change the course of her life
And she will never be the same
Because Santa never came.
