Friends?

Friends?

A Poem by Liz Alexander
"

a collection of lines that fill a story or do not. It may be jumbled but it's a random writing

"
Sometimes I wonder what I saw in you
Day after day I wonder if we are friends?
I know in the slightest sense of the word we are
There are times when I can see you try
While others where doubt creeps in
I believe in friendship a bond in Jesus Christ
Do I seem independent? Or just crazy pathetic?
I pray often that light will shine on your days
Even if we are not friends that God will give you some one to count on
Give me a smile and be on your way

Nice poem. This actually reminds of Facebook. The countless people who "friend" you, even if they bullied you or were so mean to you when you grew up. This is reflective of that and I like the positive at the end.

Oh, I can relate to this one. Wondering if my "friends" are really friends. If not, "give me a smile and be on your way". Well done and thanks for sharing.
