Why wont you smile?

It's been awhile

Since I've seen you happy

This is not you

What can I do?

It even makes me frown

To see you drown

In your own tears

I miss that smile

Where did it go?

Replaced with

Tears and woe

Well I won't leave you

Cheat, beat

Or deceive you

That smile

Needs to return

It does

Oh how I yearn

For you to smile again

Please do.

I love you.

It leaves me in pain

To see

What looks like rain

Coming from those eyes

That head that's always down

Needs to rise

With that beautiful smile
