The Man in the Mud

The Man in the Mud

A Story by H.
"

A parable.

"
A man was sitting in the mud one day, working it with his hands. Another man came across this scene and was baffled. He asked, "Sir, why are you playing in the mud?"

The man answered, "I'm needing it."

"But aren't you supposed to need dough for bread?" the other replied.

"You don't understand," the man in the mud replied. "I really need this."

I've thrown away the map, but can't let go of the wheel. I'm a musician. I've been writing poetry for much longer than I've been playing, so it's odd I consider myself as such first and foremost. .. more..
