The song of my painA Poem by Jack...Love is not a necessary evil if held in the hands of others.
The song of my pain By jack Crushed as is the orange in amongst the fruit Longing for the squeeze of bitter taste; afterlife lost Shaded is the path of your emptied worn containers, below nothing grows I am caught between the wires, to shoulder blame; in tested lengths Crying to the silhouette, long in waste and short of excuses that lie Do speak for it does not care to listen, it will not ever Tea cups crash in a table cloth display, curtain cocked Slammed like mud at the school yard playground, barred and bared When calling to needs it was not true, this dearly departed thought Share the rest as a needled thread advances the line, stitches torn That smile is of ancient value, old and gray, formed of stone Carry it away quickly enough to hide the song of my pain © 2013 Jack...Author's Note
