Just a Wish

Just a Wish

A Poem by jaime
"

about finding the one

"

I wish he wasn't a man:
I wish he was water.
I would sink in his warmth;
Bathe my soul; soak my wounds.

I would cry hot tears of him.
Trace his path down my cheeks;
Catch him in my palm;
Taste the salt of his presence.

I would drink him slowly in sips.
Quench my thirst for life.
Wet my palette with color.
Paint my canvas with love.

I would tickle my fingers
Across his surface.
Swim in his veins-
my private pool.

I would dive in the deep unknown
Discover secret treasures;
And inhale his mind's steam
Until I drown.
