Flawed

Flawed

A Poem by Jay M. Jones

I am asymmetrical.
My edges are rough, and mangled
by wear and tear.
My soul is as coal is.
My heart is as earth.
Uneven....
dis proportionate....
unwilling to let the air change me.
I am flawed.
I am flawed, and it is beautiful.
There is no perfect square.
There is no diamond center.
There is no white shining light.
There is just me.
Imperfect....
unknowing..
powerless...

I AM flawed.
