REGRETS

REGRETS

A Poem by Jess

I can see the people dying..
the sound of children crying for help,
the sight of the youth being poisoned,
I feel every man's struggle to survive.

I can see people being blinded...
the darkness that sorrounds this world
the forgotten promises from this world,
every man has fallen into deception.

I've heard all their clamor,
I've seen all their creed for salvation...

And I regret that I did not do a thing.

The question tells us about what your regret. However, your note made me think...do we really have to regret and cry for the wasted things, or do we have to start anew and never to cross that path again?

Nice poem for reflection...

Thank you lovely poet.
I am glad there is still hope and still time. I have a few regrets also; we may fall down seven times but we must rise up eight. Good job!
