my faith

I yearn to feel closer to God i know its not based on feelings faith is all we have

tis the sorrow of my regret

tis the day of reckoning

tis the day of judgement

tis the day i see His beautiful face

tis the day  i see my life in all

its beauty darkness

sins love hate and all its impure

thoughts

flash before me

all my regrets

too late

all my sins most atoned

most forgiven

my thoughts He knew

before i spoke them or knew them

myself

my  miserable self centered life

left open

the scars

the hurt

the love

the lies

the shadows

all

open for Him to heal

to see

he sees my heart

he knows my

love

my yearning for Him

before I even knew it

existed

Help me come to this day

without a regret

not one regret

in his eyes

that pierce my soul

with His neverending love

that I dont deserve

He knows this

before I knew it

He knows my bad self

my heart yearns to be

closer to Him

even though hes near

I cant feel Him here
