Walking Away

The pain of losing a love causes some to doubt their own existence. (for a contest)

Should I walk away
from this life I lead
parting this earthly realm
from all the strife

No more pain
or money to gain,
life's not the same
without you

So what's a girl
got to do, but
take my leave, cause
you are not here

So now I'll go, and
cut my loses
with genuine sadness...
by walking away?
