THESE FUNNY HUMANS OF MINE

Written from the point of view of our pet Iguana Leslie

They walk on two legs

And talk funny

These funny humans of mine

They aren't very pretty either

Like my awesome shade of green

I bob my head to try

and make them understand

They think its funny

And bob there heads back

Making no sense at all

These funny people of mine

They let me out of this cage sometimes

But I think they get upset if I knock

Something over

They sure do make funny faces

And wierd sounds

Sometimes they make this

Funny sound and then it

Smells really bad

They look at me like I did it

I just stare back at them

These funny people of mine

They keep calling me Leslie

What kind of name is that

For a big bad iguana

I'm not even a girl

I have my fun though

When the humans

Open the door to the cage

It's great to watch them jump

When I whip my long tail

It makes me laugh

But all in all

I guess these

Funny people of mine

Are not so bad
