I sell this to any willing buyer

 

I will not force it upon you

Although it was forced upon me

If you take it, you will regret it

Touch it, I dare you. Soon you will see

 

If you want it, I might give it for free

 

Lift this weight off my shoulders

Fix the hole in my chest

Make it all go away

So I may have some rest

 

Oh please, I’m begging you

 

I don’t want anyone else to suffer

But there is no other way

I give you my unbalanced deal

Loved this poem Kbob. I can completely understand your pain, well i don't really, but I have had immense pain before too. I think people should take your advice cause you say not to inflict pain on purpose, it's not all that great. Wish I could help with this pain, and I sadly know people who would buy it..

This is one of the best poems I've ever read!
There's absolutely every possible ingredient in it,
some subtle, some obvious and poignant, and some between the lines...
provokes emotions and images ...
It is deeply touching at many levels, and creeps under the readers skin ...

I immensely like the genre in which you wrote these lines
