grand larceny

grand larceny

A Poem by world war jessica <3
"

intended for you.

"

next time you steal my diary

and compliment me on how elloquent it was

remember when you give it back

you still keep its secrets.

all my little secret thoughts you cant really return.

so dont steal my car.

you might compliment the leather and keep my interior

by the way i love you

f**k you too. but seriously though, this was a nice piece, a little abrupt with the ending, have you thought about expounding on the original idea of emotional larceny? and maybe something more, about what the thief is entitled to / is responsible for once they have made away with your, uhh...inner jewelry?

I sense an invitation to read between the lines and I enjoy that interpretive quality in this poem. There is a personal message but also a collective meaning in many relationships. Very nice!

Well we could say that it is a nice little snippet. We walk away with an eternal view of the secret and you pass the message along.
