Escaping Logic

Escaping Logic

A Poem by Scene, not herd
"

Math, really, in general. My first full fledged attempt at rhyming couplets. I only hope I get better. This takes discipline.

"

Nothing
Nothing at all
As I stare into the room
Where he'd taken a fall
The very knowledge of my impending doom
His eyes give it away,
All too soon

Perchance! I must escape
But how? I know I must not fold
Myself I know and do berate,
My causing the demise of his soul
What he becomes if I take flight
Horror of horrors, in him unfolds
If ever I resolve to leave his sight

Climbing onto the windowsill
Acutely I know
that with deepest hate his soul I fill
Still, no chance my sorrow to show
But for now,
I leave his side.

Gone
Gone for now
We start, knowing none the better
Of which now seems to've become foul
Knowing first and then the latter
Somehow this becomes much better

I stand
The prisoner of my words
Alone, only myself to fend
Easier said, I know what hurts
But then again, I do not fear

"Which is why", I say
Turning around
You''ll find none sweeter than summer's day
Perhaps, thats why you've only found
So much devoid of logic ere.

Not a bad attempt, not bad at all.
I'm still a bit hazy on what it's about..
But I think that's a good thing,
I love poems that have no obvious meaning,
I like the challenge of figuring it out.
Great write. :)
