a child in the dark,

on a journey we'd embark,

alone for all this time, 

never felt loved till this day, 

everything is beautiful now, 

I've forgotten how to cry, 

others clip my wings, 

with you I can fly,

happy to be alive now, 

feel loved everyday, 

life is a fantasy, 

strawberries and a kiss, 

let's laugh and love, 

live in this happy bliss,

In you I found comfort, 

my sweet sun ray, 

you came into my life, 

placed the stars in the sky, 

I never wanted to live, 

you are the reason I try, 

please don't leave me, 

you promised you'd stay, 

without you by my side,

you promised you'd love me,
