Dreams waiting

Dreams waiting

A Poem by Linda alexander

Wings are strong wind is in favor
Can I take off and disappear
Yes dreams are waiting
Can you hear their calling for me

The branded and jeweled ones
Light and fluffy as white clouds
I am getting lighter and lighter
Just waiting to be lifted up

Umm .. something deep!! Isn`t it?? Yeah, the depth of the words are great, this piece could be interpret with many perspectives ..but the first perspective`s "love" ..yeah .. because if there`s no love, there`re no emotions and if there`s no emotions, there`re no dreams ... isn`t it?? Very thoughtful piece ~~ Great job!!

Linda, I like the first stanza especially. I love this imagery of the wings in wind allowing you to take off and disappear...and dreams just waiting for you to enter their realm. Very beautiful and contemplative piece. Thank you, dear friend, for sharing it with us.

A feeling of weightlessness....just before Morpheus whisks us away to dreamland. A great escape...a feeling of serenity....I liked it. lydi**

Your poetry always brings an interesting twist to the English language. Sometimes I think it's visiting and mastering in a way that those indigenous to it are envious of. Your construction is always unique and you speak with an intriguing voice that draws me into your poetry.

I love the depth of such few verses.
