Bottom's Up from Here

Bottom's Up from Here

A Poem by Donald Meikle

sometimes sad's so stinkin' easy
Whining all the weary day
Sinkin' lower with each moment
Knowing it won't go away
This hole I fell in's gettin' deeper
But I could really give a damn
There aint no way I'm just a weeper
Sads so easy as I am
Change? I know I never can
Jevva see a sadder man?
Cudda smile replace a frown?
Maybe since it is your round

:o) This one made me smile...and then it made me a little sad too. Whining is easy...so many people wallow in thier self loathing and think they have it so hard, when the hardest thing is really to rise above... Thought provoking...
