      Forgetting

brain exterminating

it's a lie

what's sterile,

the erasing

determined removing

  leaving nothing

where there was something

remembered

it's a lie

    if freedom is having nothing

left to lose

freedom must be a losing game

     because they always come back

       Excruciating

is the hollowest pain

from a whole past

of lies

distortions

from this comes

   the reemergence game

the bane of remembrance

      mr removed

      and dr remembered

even sterile

it haunts your dreams

all the truths you wished to forget

they come back

they always come back

     you can never forget

this is not a killing game

i'm not sure what to make of this but I know that there is such a thing as repressed memories and I do know that there is such a thing as bad memories or trauma that can be repressed through hypnosis and such. But it does come back often. Like a beautiful work of DaVinci, there are layers of art beneath often. Those things that we wish to be discarded and make an effort to cover up, they will come to surface again as the facade fades. You never really get what you see. (I edited this because of a typo)

These lines made me face the reality.. However may we think that we can hide the truth, it doesn't just go away... All in all, I liked this piece..very strong..
