Anti-MJ (the peter principle)

Anti-MJ (the peter principle)

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

You rise and you rise
It’s hard work but you do it
Again and again
     and again
To find that eventually
On one fine day
Eventually
You come to realize
You only rose to finally fall
At the feet of the next one's
Souring all of the good things
That came for you before this
Before you rose
And then you rose a bit more
Through hard work
You found the very limits
Of your potential. . .
It's quite admirable
But it never lasts
And in your end and all its glory
It’s really, just, pretty f*****g depressing
What the sum turns out to be
(sigh)
How perfectly average we turn out to be
On the regular
Such is life
