have you ever been scared to death?

truly frightened

into beleiving

"this, now this, will be the end of us all"

at first

every part of you shakes

at first

it paralyzes your insides

distorts your perceptions

at first

seconds become hours

emotion takes control

at first

you'd cry if you were not

so tough on the outside

so f*****g commited to a mission

so god damned stubborn for survival

and then

when feelings stop existing

something paralyzes your fears

enrages all of your reflexes

brings things to your surface

you always hoped were not real

the monster inside you

becomes the monster that is you

and after that. . .

you come back

different

after that

nothing is ever the same

I can't say that I've ever been scared to death. I get angry, and then I eat that anger and let it burn. It fuels me.

There is so much to be found in music; it has the ability to awaken parts of us we never knew about.
