The Sound Of Life

The Sound Of Life

A Poem by Cocoa

Hearing cries in the distance
listening to the sound of depression

Seeing a loved couple kissing
in the rain wishing that it was you with
the one you secretly love in your heart

Feeling the emptiness inside you before your
true love jumps into your hands

you listen to him/her play guitar while
you play the soft piano
when you realize it's a harmony without even
meeting the one you lost

The sound of life
some may say it's just a phase
but really it's LIFE

Sitting in the dark listening to wolfs howling
at the moon
you know it's a sign to escape and get out

Get out and let go
listen to the sound of life that you have never
even heard of and heard

can you believe you haven't even tried
to stop it
you need to get up and leave

the sound of life is waiting
