I love when a poet captures and contributes to the intellectual pondering of the reader. Such as this wonderfully worded piece. I have never thought of 'letting go' that way, and it clicked. The answer is no, they don't. Yet grudges within us can just root us so deeply into the ground we can't move forward. Thank you for your offering, poet. This is truly one of those 'light bulb' pieces.
