Windy Night

Windy Night

A Poem by rvnwlf248
"

Pretty scary! LOL

"
Your body filled with a dreadful chill
stared at your desk, and the white old quill
windy night, the quill moved slight
you lit the lamp; seeking light
no light came, the fuel was dead
you thought of going back to bed
suddenly noticed, the quill moved slight
you approached with all your might
Not the wind, window is closed
heart raced- a message exposed
you read in horror; ink was red
"Not the wind, go back to bed!"
You are so scared, what do you do?
You called a friend asked her, "is it you?"
she said something you could not hear
a message maybe she is here
You looked back only to find
a blood chilling face looking back at thee
maybe it was just your mind
You got to bed, but it didn't leave
and that would be the last thing you would ever see
Because that face my friend, belongs to ME.

I think it is great. BTW it is set to be from a long time ago hence the quill.
