lost in my dreamland

lost in my dreamland

A Poem by manpreet kaur
"

Everyone of us have inspiration, ideas. But these ideas that I have expressed in this poem have been moulded and modified. I was inspired from the movie Charlie and the chocolate factory.

"
Lost in my dreamland. ..

Lost in my dreamland,
I have been,
Going to a chocolate factory,
And a parlour full of ice cream.
Enjoying with my friends all day long,
As we sang loads of song.

Making the impossible possible,
We swam in the river of chocolate sauce,
And then climbing up the hill top,
Sliding down the thick ice sheet,
And popping into our mouths,
Some gems sweet.

Going around trees
To grab chewing gum and toffees,
And then there was a door
Which opened on entering a passcode.
Given to us were only two hints,
To guess, conjecture and think.
I am a yummy white sweet,
But don't eat much as I'll stick to your teeth.
The only thing you didn't get here,
In abundance it can be found out there!
This was the riddle we had to solve,
To discover the white treasure behind the door that was locked.
'Marshmallows' blurted Ridhi from behind,
And instantly a voice echoed 'Right'.
The door was opening gradually,
But suddenly something hit my head,
And to my surprise,
I was sleeping in the accounts class sitting in the last bench.
