The Broken

speaks for itself

All that life has to offer

is not another sentence on a blank page

its the untold story

of all one's hopes that flew away

and those individuals that didn't stay

what shapes the lives of the broken

as tears in their eyes

make it difficult to see

the shattered images that represent false hope

and when its all said and done

and everything is lost 

the only thing left is the soul

and all that is unjust
