A Poem by Mem

you cannot be sure you'll die. you don't know where you are now, where will you be and where were you, maybe it's your own delusion. you can be certain of uncertainty. uncertainty is your only truth.

new clock is going backwards, further
your knowledge overtakes it, self-employment as a sin
they've told you what others say is a lie
but then they made it obvious, evidence you must believe in

here you are, have some impotence drugs
they'll give it to you, to feel pleasurably supple
but then they'll castrate you, blind you, stun you
for being too excitable

new lungs collapse witch each breath, further
your imagination defeats it, disavowal as a lie
they've told you mother's truth is undisputed
but then they made it absurd, evidence you must deny

here you are, have some impotence drugs
they'll give it to you, to feel pleasurably supple
but then they'll castrate you, blind you, stun you
for being too excitable

they control the past, control the future
present, that's their work in progress
don't trust your own physiology
once you s**t a bit, they'll want even fewer but more, lastly less
