Rise and Fall

Rise and Fall

A Poem by disheveledApathy

And I am burning, burning so bright
There is no sun left to defy me (I became my own night sky)
Dissolving to ashes, crumbling and sifting through the hourglass (I cracked it when I thought of you)
And I let it take control, let the flames devour me (give me a sign)

Let me feel alive
(angel, this is what you did to me)
