Why me?

Why me?

A Poem by Kali the Akumu Kitten

Life is one thing I can't stand
Like my life is a house
The mistakes always come home
The happiness never returned
People that I love end up leaving
And the ones that ruin my life never leave

Life is like an hourglass glues to the table
I can never go back, to fix those mistakes
Only foward, where more are yet to come
I can only face those mistakes filling up my life, even thou there unbeatable
I can value the happiness while it stays around and keep the people that I love, in my life until they descide to leave
And ignoring those who ruin my life, while they fill the emptness in my life with to the mistakes

People always tell me life is a gift that I should cherish
If this is true,
Then why do I wish and cry that I was never given this gift at all

this is a poem filled with emotion, it is sad, but i think our best writing comes from emotion i can see that you have a flare for writing, keep it up you are good at it, think of it as your gift to others, because many people feel the same way and may be inspired to write just by reading your poem!
