Sweet Guillotine

Sweet Guillotine

A Poem by midnight reaper
"

Sometimes you lose the battles you fight.

"
Oh, sweet guillotine why should you purpose death so soon. Oh, guillotine why must you tell me this. All my sorrow and despair hanging above me. Oh, guillotine why should I worry when I have a way out. Oh, guillotine will this forbidden knot you created solve my problems. Oh, guillotine I tried to fight but now my thoughts are closing in. Oh, guillotine why must I be guilty of such horrific things. Oh, guillotine can you stop those voices in my head. But no you are just a voice, same as the others. Oh, guillotine should I say goodbye to those who love me? Or should I just push you away for the havoc you have caused? Now I know I'm losing and the voices are coming back. Oh, guillotine you have won and now I lay and wait for my soon demise. But yet I have thoughts of hope but I shrug them off as mere hallucinations as the rope tightens around my neck I say one last time. Oh,  guillotine was all this worth it?
