well you know not to look a gift horse in the mouth
and you can still get hurt at home on the couch

i could tell our future wasn't too bright.
so i left and came away with something to write.

Don Quixote had his windmills
and Ahab had his whales

but when we break out the scales
and weigh it out ounce for ounce
   we'll see that you're beautiful
just not where it counts.

I love the simplicity and the use of moden and historicle culture the flow and rhyme were unique and still somehow managed to work very well for this piece... nicely done!
