Pathway of the mindA Poem by CalebA collection of short (shorter than usual) poems all sharing a common theme.Compilation of Mini-PoemsRiver’s Waters: Through wild waters, I walk alone, seeking answers not yet know. The rain and hail won’t cease, Leave my mind never at peace. On My Hilltop: Left on my hilltop, the wind brushes by me. Left on my hilltop, never to be free. Left on my hilltop, trapped within my mind. Left on my hilltop, forever confined. Forgotten Trees: I catch a glimpse of the sea of trees lies ahead, A place I shall only once dare to go and tread. I leave not to return but to bury and forget, This is my path, the one my life has set. Cave of the Mind: It goes on and on with no end, Yet into its depths, I must descend, Through its shadows, I must go, To find the answers I want to know. Daybreak: My journey is now close to its end, Even now as I pass this last bend. Through the night I have pressed on, It is now that I can see a new dawn. Many trials have I endured in this quest. But now, I can sit… and finally, rest.
