Echo.

Echo.

A Poem by Jason Young

We all live an echo

Same old things over and over again

We go through all the motions

Then go through ‘em again.

Ugh. Can you even consider this monstrosity a poem?

wow, I love this. I'm sure everyone can relate . . . it certainly is a punchy little piece. I would change nothing in it, it is perfect as it is. simple and human. thanks so much for sending the read request! :) C. C. Burl.

i'm sure many can relate heheheh for one thing it seems i'm always doing "the same old thing" but whatever that's my fault.

it's short but nonetheless it is a poem...Nice write!

yes of course you can consider this "monstrosity" a poem - i really appreciate the simplicity of it, and even the way you used " 'em' " - seemed so wrong at first, hahah, but totally right. i love that idea of living an echo... in many ways, so true. it opens up so many possibilities for the meaning.
