"Forgotten like change in a crumbled receipt." Excellent line and description of how one imagines himself to be feel long after a traumatic event. A powerful write. Well done.

Thank you for your kind words sharon
Yeah wow - hard - hard on everyone involved ... It's funny I was reading something today about emotions and how we need to step away from them to observe them ... Emotions are funny little buggers they affect us physically ... like you think about it ... they actually ring themselves right throughout our bodies ... and we can put our minds to fixing them because our mind is the one actually feeding them ... the mind doesn't want to give in or topple, it wants to always remain in control .... so what do we need to do ... we need to learn how to observe our emotions, yes step away from them to understand self ... once we see they are not a part of us - instead just the conjurings of our minds ... then ... and only then ... will we find peace ... not so easy to do when it is the mind that has been in charge all these years ... but certainly worth a fare whack of the widdle I'd say (don't ask me what widdle is - it can be whatever you want ''readers priviledge" ...

you are an emotive write thats for sure ... pulling stuff out and hanging it right there on the heartstrings ... well done X
