Haiku Strings Poetic Melodies

Haiku Strings Poetic Melodies

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Haiku String Along Poetic Melodies

Haiku string along

Like singing in counting rhyme

Many haikus joined

Strings are connected

Each one enhances the next

Tells you a story

Like in Lincoln’s Dreams

Learn of history

It’s a conundrum

Once Upon a Time

Children read haiku story

Counting syllables

In Long Live Ireland

Leprechauns are real

Magic of the mind

Could go on and on

I think you get the picture

My strings tell the tale

Heart strings play the tune

String along a melody

And just sing along

Haiku string along

Please enjoy my many tales

In five-seven-five
