Haiku Yesterday

Haiku Yesterday

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader

Haiku Yesterday

Yesterday is gone

Leaving the world in the rear

Forgotten moments

Captures for a time

Now fading in split seconds

Lost on distant shores

Resting in the mind

Sweet memories remembered

Bubbles in the brain

Imprisoned flashes

Incarcerated embers

Of a time gone by

Yesterday’s whispers

Whirling though the atmosphere

God heard, blessings sent

Clever wordings here! "Incarcerated embers" The most clever of them all! Nice write on a tough topic (in my opinion).
