Alice In Wonderland 2010

I watced the new Alice In Wonderland last night. This is my take on the movie.

 

Alice In Wonderland 2010

 

My name is Alice, I’m a flighty girl

My blonde head is in a whirl

 

I saw a white rabbit hopping by

Wearing a waistcoat, but I didn’t know why

 

He carried a clock that ticked so loud

But only I heard it, not the crowd

 

Hamish asked me to dance in his arrogant way

He’s a stuffed shirt, what more can I say  

 

Meet me in the gazebo Hamish said

Oh no I feared he’d ask me to wed

 

I don’t want to dance, or a mother-in-law

I’m a free spirit chasing a rabbit’s paw

 

Alice will you be my bride he said

Thought to myself, I’d rather lose my head

 

I must run, I must go

To the rabbit hole, don’t you know

 

The clock is ticking, there’s not much time

Mad Hatter awaits with a silly rhyme

 

Drink this get little, eat this get big

But must be little for this gig

 

Not the right Alice, not the same as before

Is all I’ve heard since I opened the door

 

It’s my dream so I must be the one

I’m the right Alice, so let’s have some fun

 

I went for a ride on a big top hat

Is it possible, I saw a disappearing cat?

 

Queen of Hearts wants my head

Not on my shoulders, it’s been said

 

A magical wonderland so green

Needs to be ruled by the good White Queen

 

Red Queen won’t give up without a fight

And it will be a gory sight

 

Her Jabberwocky I must slay

Before the sun goes down on this day

 

With my trusty sword I’ll cut off its head

Wonderland is saved and the Jabberwocky is dead

 

Time for me to go back and face my life

Tell Lord Hamish No, I won’t be his wife

 

In the business world I’ll be a woman of worth

This was my destiny from my birth

 

I’m Alice and I went to wonderland to find myself

I won’t be his trophy wife on a shelf
