No Evil

No Evil

A Poem by Nancy Lee Shrader
"

Form Than Bauk

"

No Evil

 See with your eyes

Be a wise chap

And size it up

Your ear can’t hear

Far from here man

Don’t fear my words

If you don’t talk

In this balk form

You’ll gawk too soon

Monks know their vice

Told you thrice here

Be nice to all

The rhyme structure is very unique. From my quick scan, it seems like the last word in the first line rhymes, the second to last word in the second line rhymes, and the third word to last of the third line rhymes in each tercet! wow, how anyone can pull that off is remarkable lol "hear" "here" I don't like, but considering the level of difficulty, I'm judging on a curb:) is this format called anything? "than Bauk"? and what's the purpose of it, besides to make poets frustrated? lol

I really wonder how you can write so well, when ever a challenge is put up i think you are the first one to enter, and most important of them all is that, you write the awesome poems... Fantastic poem!

Excellent advice very nicely spoken in the Than Bauk form. No matter what poetic form I throw out, you ace them Nancy!

Thanks for participating in the Poetry in-FORM-ation Challenge!

Be nice - yes, that would be good
So many people are not aware of the negativity they can cause!
