 An Eternity With Me

 

 

The Light in your heart comes from heaven above

My sacrifice sent to forgive all your sin

God opened up heaven by sending His love

I am the way, the only way to come in

My truth gives you life; I’m Father’s Holy Dove

Hear My whispered words, and then write them within

I’ll lift your burdens with My righteous right hand

Cleansing your hearts so you’ll be able to stand

 

 

 

The Light where God lives is the light in each soul

God welcomes the sinner who kneels down in prayer

You have learned this from prophets, and saints of ole

I will shepherd My flock, so all knows I’m there

To reach the promise land is everyone’s goal

Now sup with your Savior; I’m tender and fair

Trust in Me children, and hearts will be made whole

Be uplifted, revived, with no more despair

 

 

 

God’s Son came to earth in the fullness of time

To give light to the darkness and squash death’s sting

Completing the promise of prophecy’s rhyme

Messiah of God, Lord of lord, King of kings

God’s Holy One lifted on the Cross of pain

Darkness at noon, and the earth shook in the rain

Straight, strong and enlightened forever you’ll be

God’s children throughout eternity with Me
