Untie In Thought: A Poem for Heath Ledger

Untie In Thought: A Poem for Heath Ledger

A Poem by Natasha Ashway
"

Saying goodbye to a brilliant actor.

"

Let's say a prayer for him

Celebrate tears not the death of a dream

Fall to knees

Fall apart at this seam

Let's untie in...

Thought

Let him loosen cords gently

Pictures of his grace inside us

Let his woven words gently

Place the pieces down to guide us

Home to where he is...

Not.

This was amazing!! Today is the day of his death, but I am celebrating it because it is a day to remember what we all once had and what we all once lost.

Keep up the amazing work!

I am bereft. I had just begun to explore his work v character. This piece of yours is beautifully reflective of how his spirit seemed and has a soothing impact upon me.

I had to read this aloud to get the full expression. Nice flow and meaning.
I believe he was truly a gifted actor and it is sad to see him end so needlessly.
