Fire Bird

it burned bright
soaring in the sky
above us all
fire on its wings
and in its eyes

it radieated beauty
serenity
wonder
something we couldnt acomplish
if we tried for a million years

innocent
unguided by hatred
or greed
it flew onward
guided by its heart

and those who tried
to catch the magestic creature
always seemed to fail
watched their weapons burn in flames
as punishment for their crime

so it flew on
beauty inspireing awe
wherever it went
the one and only
fire bird
