Welcome to the wheel!
Enjoy your endless ride!
Run within!
Scurry about!
For Pellets,
Cage and Pride!


Dignity denied
Fellow rats deride
Rife with guile
Lance with smile
Base, and beady-eyed


Time to flee
Breaking free
Status quo
Not for me


Drawing breath
Blood of steel
I am Jumping
Off The Wheel.

It's so easy for us to fall into a boring routine like the hamster spinning endlessly on the wheel. And, though people may realize that they are unhappy, it takes courage to "jump off the wheel" and try something new. Staying the same is comfortable and most humans prefer to be comfortable. To be an individual, even at the expense of temporary alienation, is a brave action!
