A new hope, a new dream

The sun sets as usual and ends a day
While its reflection can be still seen in the bay
Leaving everything dark behind
Announcing night, cold and blind

The dark is a wagon of pains,
And happiness it easily strains
But deep inside I do believe
That soon enough I'll get a relief

Hours pass by and I lose hope
And I fall asleep as I could no longer cope
Overpowering the silence was what I tried to do
But I wasn't strong enough to pass through

Breaking the darkness, there was a bean of light
And I got up to realize it was no longer night
Smiling while in my bed I lay
For it is bright , it's a new day

And so , I got up with a new hope, a new dream
And started my day with yesterday's tomorrow's first light beam
