Memories from Boarding School Days: Platform III

It's an informal letter to a friend that went to the same secondary as I, a friend who had the same experience I had in boarding house.

Dear Niyi,

Hello there. How far, hope things are shaping up and progressing. Hope you are also enjoying good health and the company of good friends. I am happy and positive about you. After all, you also stood and still stand on a platform that prepared us well ahead of time. Such platform I situated in memories from junior and senior secondary school days. It’s a convenient time frame and position for evaluating and rooting my expectations for the short and long future. I feel safer in its profit oriented haven (or heaven).

How is your girlfriend or fiancé? Is she on this stage or another one alike? Is she like Tosin Job or Motunrayo Oyewole or Bolaji Ojuade? Is she friendly, churchy or just herself? Is she gracious, strong or very strong; or maybe you don’t even need this platform to investigate a love story. It is not farfetch. I remember how our love for football competes with love for a girl back in those days in FGCIK yet we were not without a light at the end of the tunnel- love stories matter.

How is Ota and your M.Sc. program? Hope your supervisor creates time for you? Please let me know how well you’re doing in it. I care.
