Kitty & Me..

My favorite chair

is soft and comfortable

big and strong

loads of cushions

and extra large

so I can stretch out

on it.

It is in a room

filled with blooming flowers

of many wonderful colors

and shades

with big bay windows with doors

that open out onto

a lovely view

overlooking the ocean

on a glorious hot

summer day

back inside my room

a little kitten is a play

with a ball of wool

the kitten is snow white

called beauty as

she is simply beautiful

I sit on my cosy chair

and watch her from afar

with sheer delight

she is having fun

I scope her up

and hold her close

and relax in my

chair

closing my eyes

we both start

to drive off

into a warm snooze.

We had a cat that was so loving but had been so badly abused it was shocking. We found her dumped in our front garden. She was skin and bone, tied up with cat gut, they had tried to cut her tail off so it was only about an inch long and the rest was dead, she had no teeth and couldn't meow...my mam called her tuppence as you wouldn't get 2p for her and I called her stumpy arse as she had to have her tail removed and had to walk on her tip toes...she was the most loving cat we've ever had

Oh George this story about tuppence broke my heart. But thank goodness for you and your family. Taking her in and loving her. And she rewarded you with undying love right back. She knew you where her angels. And her spirit was healed and happy thanks to your family.

She cost us a bloody fortune...if there was trouble she'd find it....she once was pestering a neighbour who was creosoting his fence and was going under it all the time..she then decided that she'd wash herself and swallowed the creosote so that was an expensive visit to the vets to save her life....out of all the cats we've had she was the only one that had to have visits to the vets

Aw, i hate people who think it's ok to abuse such innocent creatures. All animals included! It's so cruel and the thought of someone thinking it's funny is heartbreaking! How could someone enjoy it? Sick sick people out there...

I do agree totally with that. I hate evil people in general who are cruel to anyone as well as animals in general. They turn out to be pychopatic. When they do wicked stuff like that.

you set the scene well and one steps into this sense of domestic tranquility. I enjoy visiting friends and other folks pets, they often seek me out.
