People From My Past

People From My Past

A Poem by thelux
"

Summer, while it should be the time of our lives, can sometimes turn into a bore.

"
There's no excitement
Where is the enlightenment?
I can't do this all alone
I should be elated
But I'm feeling kinda hated
Underrated
Faded
This reality will soon turn into an old disturbance
I need something to pump some adrenaline through all our hearts
So people from my past
Your presence would be appreciated
And hurry up now
Your visit is already belated

I don't usually rhyme, but I'd thought I'd give it a try, so feedback on that would be nice. Criticism appreciated :)

I really like how the structure of this adds to the urge of the poem. I like it a lot keep doing what you're doing!
